To continually improve the quality of care/service delivery by De dwa da dehs nye>s Aboriginal Health Centre (DAHC) by identifying areas that we are doing well and opportunities for improvement. DAHC is committed to investigating and resolving complaints related to delivery of care/service.
DAHC promotes a “Just Culture” of safety in which DHAC representatives can readily report and learn from these incidents and work together to improve the safety of patient care.
To adhere to the principles of just culture, due diligence and procedural fairness through a process that is adheres to the Good Mind and the Seven Grandfather teachings: love, respect, humility, bravery, honesty, truth, and wisdom.
To ensure that timely, consistent processes are in place for investigating complaints from patients/participants and the community.
