Tanja Steinbach is a Mi’kmaq from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Mother of three awesome kids, she lives in a lovely country setting in Stevensville. She considers herself as a community helper and has worked in urban Indigenous communities in Niagara and Montreal since 1998. Tanja’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Education – Aboriginal Adult Education from Brock University as well as a Master of Social Work – Aboriginal Field of Study from Laurier University.
